Winekeeper builds commercial and residential wine storage cabinets on a semi-custom basis in the size, style, and wood of your choice using only high quality commercial hardware and choice hardwoods. These unique cabinets feature over-sized cooling units with an operational range of 52° - 62°, tempered, argon-filled, insulated glass doors and magnetic door gaskets, to provide maximum reliability with a minimum of operating costs. Because all of our storage units are built on a custom basis, we will need the following information to prepare an accurate quotation.
- Specify wood type and stain color.
- Proposed cabinet dimensions or space allocated. (Width, depth, height) For units with bottles racked 1 bottle deep we will need approximately 24” of depth, and for units 2 bottles deep we will need approximately 31”.
- How many sides of the unit will be seen?
- Are the sides and face of the cabinet flat, or will they need to have chair rails, crown and base moldings, recessed panels, etc?
- Will the unit have solid wood, or wood framed glass doors?
- Will the doors and glass have any special details? (Arches, etching, etc.)
- Will the bottle racking be of a standard configuration for holding all the bottles horizontally, or will there be bottles on display?
- Will there be internal lighting?
- Is the unit to have 1 or 2 temperature zones?
- Cooling units are located near or at the ceiling of all the cabinets. If the cooling system is to be a fully self contained configuration, the warm air exhaust and return air grill is most often located on the right or left side. Venting through the rear of the cabinet quite often means that a hole must be cut through your building wall. Venting out the front of the cabinet reduces the number of bottles the unit will hold.
With the above information, Winekeeper will be able to start the process of supplying a custom quotation which will include price and lead time.
